RUSSIAN NEWSREELS
There is some evidence to suggest Newman appeared in several newsreels
connected with the Tchaikovsky Competition.
RUSSIAN BROADCASTS AND THE NEW ARCHIVE DISCOVERIES
There is also evidence that a TV recording was made with David Oistrakh
of the Bach Concerto for two violins in D minor and other broadcasts concerts.
In the light of the recent release of recordings in the Russian Revelation
series it is still possible that some of his recordings made while in Russia have survived.
